HOW TO WASH UGLY
Our period underwear is designed to replace disposable period products. At Ugly Pants we're firm believers that good things should last, and our period pants are made with longevity in mind.
Rinse under cold running water before machine cold wash. Do not soak. Do not add softener. Do not tumble dry. Line dry. Do not iron
Step 1: Rinse
After using your Ugly Pants, we recommend you rinse them as soon as possible. After this you can either hand wash or put them in the washing machine
Step 2: Wash
Whether washing by hand or using the machine, we ask that you avoid using hot water and softener as these will affect the absorbency of the gusset.
Step 3: Dry
We ask that the only way you dry your Ugly Pants is air drying on a line. To keep your pants in the best condition we advise avoiding heat.
Ugly Pants will last between 9 and 12 months, this will depend on your personal usage and flow!
Rinse your Ugly Pants under cold running water and then machine wash with cold water avoiding softener.
We would recommend washing your Ugly Pants as soon as you can but if you can't; rinse them right after use as usual and hang them to dry. Once dry you can put them in your washing basket and wash when you next do a load. We suggest you use a delicates wash bag to give your Ugly Pants a bit more care.
Due to the design of Ugly Pants we strongly advise you do not put your pants in the tumble dryer as this will have an immediate negative effect on the absorbency of your pants.
For optimal care of your period pants, we strongly advise using only cold water for rinsing and washing. Hot water may harm the fabric and compromise its absorbency. Additionally, it can cause period blood to 'set' to the fabric, making it harder to remove. To maintain the quality and functionality of your period pants, avoid heat entirely, including tumble drying and ironing.
