How do period pants work
Our period pants have 4 layers of protection built into the gusset to keep you leak free and dry no matter what your period throws at it.
The top layer is designed with moisture wicking and odour control to keep moisture away from your skin and keep you feeling fresh.
The middle absorbent layer work to absorb up to 20ml for up to 12 hours, and keep everything secure and avoid any leaks. Our second middle layer is an impermeable leak-proof layer that acts as a barrier against any potential leaks. The outer layer of our period pants are crafted from breathable, soft material. This ensures that you stay comfortable and cosy, without feeling restricted or overheated. More information on this can be found on our How Ugly Works!

How to wash period underwear
The trick is to rinse in cold running water when you take them off, no need to soak. Once rinsed they can go in the washing machine on cold. You could even hand wash, but there are a few things to remember. Do not use fabric softener as this can affect absorbency and the tumble dryer / iron are to be avoided. Find more detailed washing instructions here.
Our period pants come in a range of colours and styles, including thongs, hipster and high-waisted. You can shop a range of absorbencies so you can mix and match to suit your period.
